About Teng

Connie Teng is a licensed massage therapist. She obtained her training and license through the Carly Institute of Massage and Somatic therapies in 2011. Since then she has been practicing massage therapy in Ventura County.

Connie discovered the world of somatic healing and body work because she herself was suffering from chronic headaches and gastrointestinal issues that were brought on by long-term stress. During that time, the only options offered were medication and surgery. That led her begin researching other methods and approaches. She hoped to solve her health issues without pain medication or surgery. She experimented with massage therapy, acupuncture treatment, and Chinese herbal medicine. In the process, Connie discovered how effective holistic approaches really were. She was especially fascinated by the positive changes and healing that had been taking place in her body through massage therapy. That is why it is her passion and belief that human touch can really bring about healing. Massage therapy is a unique conduit for Connie, one which allows her to use her love for science and artistic intuition to help and improve the lives of others.

It is Connie‘s core belief that in order to obtain ultimate health, we must build a stronger preventative care regimen while regularly checking in on all of our body systems such as skeletal system, muscular system, and digestive system just to name a few. Furthermore, we must also focus on the needs of the mind when we are treating any dysfunctions because it is only by taking the mind and body as one approach, the body can truly function at optimal levels.

In her free time, Connie enjoy spending time with her husband and son traveling in sightseeing. She also enjoys painting and gardening reading and learning biology.
