Your First Visit
And first step towards optimal health.
Help us Learn a Bit More About You and Your Health
Here at Kalani Total Health Center we view our patients family-- or ‘ohana--and we treat them as such. When beginning a health journey with a new patient, it is of the utmost importance that a true understanding of your specific issues and areas of concern are addressed. To do this, we take a deeper look at your medical health history by having you fill out our health information and new patient form before you meet with your specialist. The new patient paperwork is required for us to treat you, and can also be found on our website if you prefer to fill it out beforehand. The health history form helps us gain a better understanding of the direction of your treatment here at our clinic. We encourage you to be as specific as possible while completing the form. Tell us everything, as it can only help. Also, set some goals that you want to reach during treatment, and we will be at your side during each visit to make them a reality. Achieving and maintaining a pain-free daily life will always be our goal for you and ourselves!
Taking a Deeper Look With One of Our Trusted Professionals
Once we have your information, you will be paired with one of our specialists. During this initial meeting, the two of you will review your health history form. They will ask you various questions and address the health goals that you have provided. Once the specialist has a firm understanding of your goals and what you’d like addressed, they create a care plan specifically created with the aim of getting you back to optimal health.
In most cases, x-rays will be taken to allow the specialist a deeper look at any additional problems that may be hiding. These images give them a more comprehensive look at a problem you may be having, and allow them to further diagnose and treat.
Home Exercises and Scheduling Your Follow-Up Appointment
Often, simple home remedies and exercises can play a big part in your care path. Your specialist will instruct you on what will work best with your goals. Before leaving our office, we will schedule your Report of Findings examination. This exam is typically scheduled 1 to 2 days following your new patient visit, and allows us to carefully and thoroughly go through your carefully crafted care plan. Your specialist will also review your x-rays answer any questions you may have.
